Winter Salad with Butterball Turkey Bacon, Seared Halloumi, and Blood Orange

8 slices Butterball Turkey Bacon (chopped)2 Tbsp olive oil8 slices halloumi cheese3 Tbsp butter1 juiced blood orange1 Tbsp honey1 Tbsp Dijon mustardSalt and pepper1 Tbsp red wine vinegar6 cups of baby kale1 head of endive (chopped)2 peeled and sliced blood oranges1/2 pint blackberries1/4 cup toasted and chopped hazelnuts


  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat, add halloumi cheese, and sear for 3 to 4 minutes. Remove cheese and cook Butterball Turkey Bacon in the same pan for 5 to 6 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown.

  2. Add butter to the pan on medium-low and reduce for 2 to 3 minutes. When browned, add blood orange juice, honey, and mustard, along with salt and pepper to taste. Transfer to a measuring cup and add red wine vinegar. Whisk well to combine.
  3. Add kale, endive, blood orange slices, blackberries, seared halloumi cheese, crispy Butterball Turkey Bacon, and hazelnuts to the platter. Drizzle on the brown butter vinaigrette and enjoy!
