Turkey Rasher Monte Cristo Sandwich

Ingredients

 Select the items you need and print a shopping list.
1 package Butterball Applewood Smoked Turkey bacon, rasher-style8 slices brioche bread3 eggs1/2 tsp cinnamon1/2 tsp sugar1 tsp vanilla bean paste1/2 cup whipping cream120g gruyere, grated1/2 cup mayo1/4 cup Dijon mustard

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400˚F.

  2. Cook the turkey bacon as per package instructions. Set aside.
  3. Combine egg, cinnamon, sugar, vanilla bean paste, and whipping cream in a bowl. Coat each slice of bread in egg mixture, then cook in a non-stick skillet on medium low heat for 4-5 minutes—flipping halfway. Set French toast aside.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix mayo and Dijon together.
  5. To build the sandwich, spread some of the mayo mustard mixture on each piece of French toast.
  6. Top each piece with cooked turkey bacon and cheese, then close to form a sandwich.
  7. Transfer sandwich to oven for 4-5 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bread is golden. Enjoy!
