Turkey “Mac” Burgers

Ingredients

6 Butterball Turkey Burgers6 sesame seed buns, toasted6 slices cheddar cheese1 head iceberg lettuce, shaved thinly1 white onion, very finely diced12 dill pickle slices

Mac Sauce:

1/2 cup mayo1/4 cup relish1/4 cup mustard3 Tbsp ketchup1/2 tsp. paprika1/2 tsp. onion powder1/2 tsp. garlic powder1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

  1. Cook Butterball turkey burgers (from frozen) on a greased BBQ or grill pan on medium heat for 7-9 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

  2. While burgers are cooking, make "Mac" sauce. In a mixing bowl, combine mayo, relish, mustard, ketchup, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder and salt, and whisk well to incorporate. Set aside.
  3. Add cheese to the warm burgers to melt. To assemble, spread sauce on the bottom and top of each bun. Then, place some shaved lettuce, pickles and onions on the bottom bun, followed by the cheese-topped Turkey patty. Enjoy!
