Turkey Fettuccini

2 tbsp (25 mL) butter1 cup (250 mL) diced onion2 tbsp (25 mL) flour1/4 tsp (1 mL) salt and freshly ground black pepper1 cup (250 mL) 2% milk1 cup (250 mL) shredded Parmesan cheese1 cup (250 mL) green peas1 lb (500 g) cooked Butterball Turkey pieces4 cups (1 L) cooked fettuccini noodles1/2 cup (125 mL) chopped fresh parsley


  1. Melt butter in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. Toss onions in flour, salt and pepper and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Slowly pour in milk, whisking continuously. Bring to a boil and allow mixture to thicken, around 1 minute.
  4. Stir in green peas, cheese and turkey. Continue cooking for 5 minutes.
  5. Mix in fettuccini noodles until well coated. Garnish with fresh parsley.
