One-Pot Orange and Honey Turkey Pilaf

Prep time 15 minutes       Cook time 30 minutes       Serves 4

Ingredients

1 lb Butterball Easy Fresh boneless turkey breast, cubed1 tsp. vegetable oil¼ tsp. each salt and pepper1 cup diced onion¼ cup prepared honey garlic sauce2 oranges, juice and zest1 ½ cups broth1 cup basmati rice2 cups frozen peasGarnish: Cilantro and sliced citrus fruits

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat.

  2. Toss turkey cubes in salt and pepper and brown, around 2 minutes.
  3. Add in onions and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Stir in honey garlic sauce, orange juice [½ cup], orange zest [1 tbsp], broth and rice in with the turkey and bring to a boil.
  5. Cover pan and turn heat to low. Let cook on low for 15 minutes. Remove pan from heat.
  6. Take off lid and quickly stir in peas, cover the pan again and let sit for another 10 minutes.
  7. Garnish with cilantro and citrus fruit slices.
