For Pizza Sauce:

3 Tbsp olive oil1 Tbsp minced garlic1 28-oz can diced tomatoes

To Assemble Pizzas:

3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese1 package Butterball Turkey Pepperoni8 slices Butterball Turkey Bacon, cooked

Directions

  1. For Pizza Dough:

  2. Whisk the flour, yeast and salt together in a large bowl. Add the oil and water and stir with a rubber spatula until dough comes together and looks shaggy.

  3. Turn dough out on lightly floured counter and knead for about 10-15 minutes, to form a smooth, round ball. Use additional flour as needed to prevent the dough from sticking to counter. It should be tacky but workable.
  4. Transfer to a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let rise in a warm place till doubled in size, 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
  5. Divide into 8 balls and rest 30 minutes then roll out to 9” circles.

  6. For Pizza Sauce:

  7. Heat the oil in a saucepan over medium heat until shimmering. Add garlic, and cook until golden and fragrant, about 2 minutes.

  8. Add tomatoes and continue to cook until sauce thickens slightly, about 15 minutes.

  9. To Assemble Pizzas:

  10. Preheat greased grill on medium heat for 5 minutes. Place pizza dough rounds on grill and close lid. Cook until grill-marked on the bottom and bubbles appear on the surface, 2-3 minutes. Use long tongs to carefully flip each one over.

  11. Top crusts with pizza sauce, mozzarella, turkey pepperoni and bacon. Close BBQ lid and continue cooking until cheese is melted and bubbly, about 5 minutes.
