Butterball Grilled Turkey Jalapeno Poppers

Ingredients

1 pkg Butterball Applewood Smoked Turkey Bacon6 jalapeño peppers8 oz cream cheese1 tsp garlic powder1-2 green onions (depending on size) finely chopped1/4 cup cilantro, finely chopped1/4 cup sharp cheddar cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat BBQ to medium heat.

  2. Cut each jalapeño in half. Use a small spoon to scoop out seeds and membranes of jalapeños. I wear gloves doing this process.
  3. Combine cream cheese, garlic powder, chopped green onions, cilantro and shredded cheese together in a small bowl.
  4. Stuff cream cheese mixture into each jalapeño half.
  5. Take one piece of turkey bacon and wrap around each jalapeño half. I recommend securing bacon with a toothpick.
  6. Place wrapped jalapeños on the hot grill and grill for about 3-5 min. Gently flip jalapeños over and grill for another 2 min.
  7. Reduce BBQ heat to low.
  8. Flip jalapeños over and place on top shelf in BBQ.
  9. Cook another 10 min.
  10. Remove from grill and serve on a plate.
