Abby Langer’s Turkey Tacos

Ingredients

 Select the items you need and print a shopping list.
1 Butterball Boneless Turkey RoastSauce:1 can chipotle chilies in adobo1/2 tsp ancho chili powder1/2 tsp cumin1 Tbsp. honeyJuice of 1/2 limeLarge pinch salt, to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325⁰F.

  2. Remove the wrap from the Turkey Roast and pat the meat dry.
  3. Place the turkey onto a baking sheet with a rack.
  4. Combine the sauce ingredients in a small bowl. Spread around 1/3 of the sauce onto the top and sides of the turkey.
  5. Place in oven.
  6. Roast the turkey for 3.5-4 hours, turning the roast every 1 hour and basting with sauce, until the roast reaches 165⁰F on a meat thermometer.
  7. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
  8. Cut into slices for tacos, and serve with toppings like pickled onions, guacamole, and salsa.
