Stuffed Whole Turkey

The taste! The aroma! Impress every guest at your table.  Your secret....."Cook from Frozen" Stuffed Butterball turkey.  It goes from freezer to oven to table - no fuss, no mess - allowing you time to relax and enjoy time with your guests and still serve a perfect turkey dinner.  



  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Before removing plastic bag, place turkey under warm running water for 2-3 minutes. Remove plastic bag. Remove giblet and neck pack from underside of turkey.
  3. Place frozen turkey, breast side up, on a rack in a shallow (3" deep) roasting pan.
  4. Brush skin with vegetable oil to prevent drying.
  5. Shield neck area and exposed stuffing with aluminum foil to prevent overcooking.

    NOTE: Use of foil or shiny pan will increase cook time. Use of a foil pan tightly wrapped in foil will significantly increase cook time.
  7. Loosely cover with foil if skin is becoming too dark.
  8. Check for doneness with a meat thermometer. The following minimum temperatures must be reached: Thigh 180°F (82°C) / Center of stuffing 165°F (74°C).
  9. Allow turkey and stuffing to stand for 15 minutes before carving.
