Cooking Instructions
Cook from frozen
- Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Remove all packaging.
- Place frozen turkey, breast-side up, on rack in roasting pan.
- Brush with oil.
- Bake uncovered on middle rack 3.5 – 4 hours, until thickest part of turkey reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let rest, covered loosely with foil, 10 minutes before slicing.
Cook from thawed
- Thaw for 36 hours in refrigerator.
- Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Remove all packaging.
- Place turkey, breast-side up, on rack in roasting pan.
- Brush with oil.
- Bake uncovered on middle rack 3 – 3.5 hours, until thickest part of turkey reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let rest, covered loosely with foil, 10 minutes before slicing.
- Clean up: Wash hands, utensils, and work surfaces with hot soapy water and disinfectant.
Note: Use of foil or shiny pan will increase cook time. Use of a foil pan tightly wrapped in foil will significantly increase cook time.
