Canadian farmers take great pride in the Naturally Inspired turkeys raised on their local, family farms. These turkeys are grain fed and never given antibiotics. Infused with extra virgin olive oil and subtle notes of sage, thyme and rosemary, Naturally Inspired turkeys are perfect for every family get together!

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Thaw in refrigerator (see chart)
  2. Remove packaging. Remove giblets from neck cavity and remove neck from body cavity. Refrigerate until ready to use. Drain juices and blot with paper towels.
  3. Stuff neck and body cavities lightly. Allow ¾ cup stuffing per pound (optional).
  4. Place turkey, breast up, on flat rack in pan about 8cm (3″) deep. Brush skin with vegetable oil to prevent drying. Do not cover or add water.
  5. Place turkey in middle of preheated 325˚F (165˚C) oven. Roast according to chart. To prevent skin from becoming too dark, cover with aluminum foil near end of cooking time. Check for doneness with a meat thermometer, thigh should be minimum 180˚F (82˚C) / stuffing should be minimum 165˚F (74˚C).

Allow turkey and stuffing to stand for 15 minutes before carving.

Naturally Inspired Seasoned Boneless Turkey Breast Roast

Perfect on the grill or in the oven, Naturally Inspired Seasoned Boneless Turkey Breast Roasts are easy to prepare, simple to carve and great to serve.

INGREDIENTS: Turkey breast,  Water,  Canola oil,  Extra-virgin olive oil,  Sea salt,  Buttermilk powder,  Sugar,  White pepper,  Rosemary,  Sage,  Thyme,  Savoury.  Wrapped in an edible carrageenan film.

Allergen alert: May contain milk.

COOKING TIME

    1. Oven from thawed: 2 hours and 15 minutes
    2. Oven from frozen: 3 hours
    3. BBQ from thawed: 1 hour and 30 minutes

Note: cook times are approximate, as appliances vary. Product may be prepared from frozen or thawed. Thaw product (if desired) in refrigerator for 1 day.

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven or BBQ to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Before removing plastic bag, place roast under warm, running water for 1 minute.
  3. Remove bag. Place turkey on rack in shallow roasting pan. Do not cover.
  4. If cooking on BBQ, place directly on grill and cook using indirect heat. Turn roast over once, halfway through cooking.
  5. Cook until meat thermometer reads 165°F (74°C) – refer to the chart for approximate cook times. Let stand for 10 minutes before slicing.

DIRECTIONS:

BBQ:

  1. Place burgers on a preheated grill on medium/high heat.
  2. Grill burger 4-6 minutes per side, turning occasionally until cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F.

PAN FRY

  1. Pan fry at medium/high heat with 1-2 tbsp of oil for 4-6 minutes per side or to an internal temperature of 165°F

Turkey care and well-being begins at the farm with dedicated growers following stringent growing methods to ensure the humane raising of our turkeys. We are committed to the use of antibiotics only when required and prescribed by a veterinarian to maintain the health of the flock.

If medication is required, the turkeys are removed from the flock and no longer qualify for the Naturally Inspired brand. Note: Mandatory antibiotic withdrawal periods prior to marketing are veterinary enforced and verified ensuring all turkey meat in Canada is antibiotic free.
