Whole Turkey in Butter, Goat Cheese & Cranberry Sauce

Prep time 30 Minutes       Serves 6-8

1 Butterball Cook-from-Frozen Whole turkey½ cup of butter at room temperature2 garlic cloves, finely chopped1 French shallot, finely chopped

For the sauce:

1 cup 2% milk½ cup cream1 cup goat cheese with fine herbsSalt and pepper, to taste

To serve:

Cranberry jelly

  1. Preheat oven to 325 ° F.

  2. In a bowl, combine butter, garlic and shallot. Spread on top of the turkey.
  3. Bake turkey until internal temperature reaches 165°F /74°C. Refer to the turkey calculator on Butterball.ca for timing which is based on the size of your turkey
  4. In a pot, melt milk, cream and goat cheese. Add salt and pepper.
  5. Serve turkey with your choice of sides, sauce & cranberry jelly.
