Turkey Tangdi Kabab

6 Butterball Easy Fresh turkey drumsticks1/2 cup Greek yogurt2 tsp. ground coriander2 tsp. ground cumin1 tsp. ground black pepper1 tsp. Kashmiri chilli powder1/4 tsp. ground cardamom1/2 tsp. ground turmericJuice of 2 lemons2 inches ginger5 cloves garlic4, Thai green chilies2 Tbsp. melted butterOptional: 2 Tbsp. chickpea flour (Besan)2 tsp. salt


  1. In a large bowl whisk together all ingredients, except the turkey drumsticks, to create marinade.

  2. Using a small paring knife, remove skin from each turkey drumstick and discard. Make 2-3 slashes into each drumstick to help the marinade penetrate the meat.

  3. Add drumsticks to marinade, and toss to coat, ensuring the slashes are completely covered.

  4. Cover and allow to marinate in the fridge for a minimum of 1 hour to overnight for maximum flavour development.

  5. An hour before grilling, remove drumsticks from the fridge and allow them to come up to room temperature.

  6. Preheat grill to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and cook for 20-25 minutes, turning a few times until slightly charred on the outside and cooked through to the middle (Cook until a meat thermometer reads an internal temperature 165 degrees Fahrenheit).

  7. Remove from the grill and allow to rest for 2 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
