Snap Green Beans with Walnuts

Ingredients

 Select the items you need and print a shopping list.
¾ lb Snap green beans1 Tbsp. Non hydrogenated margarine or unsalted butter1 tsp. Honey¼ cup Walnuts, chopped1 tsp. Finely minced orange zest

Directions

  1. Trim green beans, leave whole.

  2. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add beans, bring water back to a boil and cook for 4 minutes.
  3. Drain and plunge beans into cold water. Drain well.
  4. Store in an airtight container in the fridge till dinner.
  5. Just before serving time, melt butter and honey in a medium skillet. Add beans and walnuts and Sauté, until heated through. Toss with orange zest.

  6. Microwave method:

  7. Cook trimmed beans on high for 4 minutes.

  8. Plunge into cold water. Continue to follow the recipe.
