Quick Turkey Tikka Masala

1 lb (500 g) Butterball bone in turkey breast1/3 cup (75 mL) prepared tikka masala paste2 tbsp (30 mL) salted butter1 cup (250 mL) canned tomato puree1/2 cup (125 mL) half and half creamGarnish: 1/4 cup (60 mL) fresh cilantro (optional)


  1. In a bowl, toss together turkey breast and tikka masala paste until turkey is coated.

  2. Melt butter in a large pan, over medium-high heat. Brown the turkey on each side, around 3 minutes.
  3. Stir in tomato puree, turn burner to low heat, cover and let cook for 30 minutes stirring occasionally.
  4. Stir in cream and cook covered for another 10 minutes. Garnish with cilantro and serve with rice.
