Oven Roast Turkey with Cranberries & Maple

1 Butterball fresh or frozen whole turkey¼ cup maple syrup1 can store-bought cranberry sauce (348 ml)1/3 cup of melted butter (63 g of butter)

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 ° F.

  2. In a bowl, combine maple syrup, cranberry sauce and butter until combined.
  3. Pour half the sauce over the turkey and brush. Keep half of the sauce for serving.
  4. Be careful not to dip the basting pan twice in the sauce to avoid cross contamination.
  5. Bake the time suggested on the box, according to the weight of the turkey.
  6. Halfway through cooking or as soon as it browns lightly, add foil on the breast to slow browning.
  7. Serve with potato, vegetables and cranberry sauce
