Holiday Pita Tree Appetizer

Ingredients

 Select the items you need and print a shopping list.
6 strips Butterball Turkey Bacon3 Greek pitas (or naan)Olive oil (to brush)Salt and pepper1 cup of hummus20 pretzel sticks½ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese1 Tbsp pistachios1 Tbsp dried cranberries5 Tbsp sour cream1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. While the oven preheats, cook Butterball Turkey Bacon according to package instructions.

  2. Cut pitas into even triangles, brush with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Spread hummus evenly onto each pita and insert a pretzel stick at the bottom of every triangle.
  3. Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese over each triangle and bake for 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted. Finely dice cooked turkey bacon, pistachios and cranberries and spread evenly on each tree. Drizzle sour cream across each tree (mimicking a strand of garland) and garnish with sesame seeds. Enjoy!
