20-Minute Weeknight Turkey Chili

Prep time 5 minutes       Cook time 15 minutes       Serves 6

Ingredients

 Select the items you need and print a shopping list.
1 lb Butterball Ground Turkey1 tsp. vegetable oil1 cup diced onion1 can Italian seasoned diced tomato2 cans favourite beans, rinsed and drained (black beans, kidney beans, chickpeas)¼ cup chili powder2 cups pasta sauceGarnish: ½ cup each sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese and sliced green onions

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a deep pot over medium-high heat.

  2. Stir in ground turkey and cook until fully cooked and broken up.
  3. Stir in onions and cook for and additional 3 minutes. Stir in diced tomatoes, beans, chili powder and pasta sauce.
  4. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minute, stirring occasionally.
  5. Serve in a bowl topped with sour cream, cheddar cheese and sliced green onions.
