Summer Turkey Burgers with Charred Corn Salsa & Creamy Avocado Sauce

Ingredients

For the Burgers:

4 frozen Butterball Turkey Burgers4 burger buns

Charred Corn Salsa:

1 can corn, drained1 red or orange bell pepper, diced1/2 cucumber, diced1/2 red onion, diced2 Tbsp diced jalapeño (adjust to taste)1/3 cup chopped cilantroJuice of 1 lime1/2 tsp salt1/2 tsp cumin1/2 tsp chili powder1/4 tsp garlic powder1/8 tsp smoked paprika

Creamy Avocado Sauce:

1 large avocado1/2 cup cilantro or parsleyHandful fresh basil1/2 cup plain Greek yogurtJuice of 1 limePinch of salt

Directions

    Make the Charred Corn Salsa:

  1. In a hot skillet or on a grill pan, heat olive oil on medium-high and add drained corn. Char the until lightly browned.

  2. Combine charred corn in a bowl with diced pepper, cucumber, red onion, jalapeño, cilantro, lime juice, and spices. Mix well and set aside.

  3. Make the Creamy Avocado Sauce:

  4. In food processor, combine avocado, herbs, Greek yogurt, lime juice, and salt.

  5. Blend until smooth and creamy. Adjust salt or lime juice to taste.

  6. Cook the Turkey Burgers:

  7. Grill or pan-fry frozen turkey burgers for 7–9 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

  8. Assemble the Burgers:

  9. Toast buns if desired.

  10. Add a cooked turkey patty to each bun.
  11. Top with a generous spoonful of creamy avocado sauce and charred corn salsa.
  12. Serve immediately and enjoy!
