Jambon Beurre Sandwich

Ingredients

Sandwich:

8 slices Butterball Applewood Smoked Turkey Bacon1 fresh baguette, sliced into 4 portions and halved3-4 slices Brie cheeseHandful arugula

Garlic Herb Butter:

1/4 cup olive oil4 garlic cloves, peeled1/2 cup salted butter, softened1/2 tsp dried parsley1/2 tsp dried oregano1/2 tsp dried basil

Directions

  1. In a small saucepan over low heat, add the olive oil and garlic cloves. Simmer gently (do not boil) for 10–15 minutes, until the garlic is golden and soft.

  2. Let cool slightly, then transfer the garlic infused oil, butter, and dried herbs to a food processor. Blend until smooth and well combined. Set aside.
  3. Cook Butterball Applewood Smoked Turkey Bacon according to package directions in a pan or microwave, ensuring it’s heated to a minimum of 165°F (74°C). Do not overheat.
  4. Spread garlic herb butter generously on both cut sides of the baguette slices (toasting optional).
  5. Layer with 2 slices of turkey bacon, brie slices, and a small handful of arugula. Top with the other half of the baguette.
  6. Serve immediately or wrap and refrigerate for up to 1 day. Enjoy at room temperature or lightly warmed.
